D. Gatheright motto is "I have failed so many times that I stumbled unto success." A never give up mentality has helped him become a wonderful speaker, accomplished writer, an excellent teacher. His speaking, teaching, writing, and lifestyle reflects a life of using faith to overcome fear. His faith in God controls and consoles him and this is evident in all his endeavors.
D.Gatheright is the Junior church pastor and associate minister at Apostolic Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ International in Chicago where Bishop J. L Jones Sr is the pastor. In June 2012 he received his Master's Degree in Psychology with an emphasis on child and adolescence psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. D. Gatheright has taught high school English for nineteen years. Along with teaching, he has worked with inner-city programs and various social service agencies for fifteen years. He is a motivational speaker, gifted orator and author of three published books, "Spiritual Sense," "Dream to the Extreme," and "Life is Poetry."Another one of his books "Replacing the Addiction" is in the process of being republished.
