A Warm Welcome from Your New Principal

Dear Students, families, and community, 

I am delighted to introduce myself as the new principal of S.T.E.A.M. Academy. It is an honor and privilege to join such a tight-knit community. I am married and have 3 daughters aged 7,4, and 18 months.  I enjoy traveling, exercising, and anything outdoors. 

I was the District Math Coordinator for the past two years. I was also a high school math teacher for 11 years.  I have spent the past two years providing math support to S.T.E.A.M. Academy, and I am extremely excited to improve the great work that is already here.  I am passionate about creating a learning environment where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired.  Students will be pushed to create projects and do great things throughout the year.  I believe in the power of partnership between home and school, and I am committed to building strong partnerships with families. I hope to work closely with you to push our students towards greatness.

In the coming weeks and months, I look forward to getting to know you and your children. I am eager to listen to your thoughts and ideas about how we can continue to improve our school. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for S.T.E.A.M. Academy.  Together, we can create an exceptional learning experience for our students.
