    Dear Prairie-Hills Junior High Students, Parents and Guardians:

    It is with great pleasure that I welcome you back for another awesome year at PHJH.  We are all excited to have our students back in our classrooms and hallways filling them with energy and enthusiasm for learning.  It is our mission to help every student feel welcomed, connected, and part of the PHJH family. 

     Our staff’s vision for learning is that all students will learn in an innovative student-centered environment that is constantly improving and builds lifelong characterisitcs for success.  We are committed to provide a structure that protects time for teachers to provide rigorous instruction, collaborate and celebrate best practices.  Additionally, we will continue to focus on research based professional development and using student achievement data to make informed decisions on curriculum allowing our children to be college or career ready.

     As a reminder, our first day of student attendance is Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018.  Please help us to ensure your child reaches his or her full academic potential by sending your child to school Every Day, On Time!  Student daily attendance is from 7:50 a.m.-2:40 p.m.
