Department of Student Services
Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year at Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144. As Director of Student Services for the district, I am so excited to begin my 10th year in the district. It gives me great pleasure to begin each and every school year. I truly believe that each and every student can learn given positive opportunities and that all students are the responsibility of everyone. When treated with respect and fairness, all students have the potential to increase their capabilities and excel to reach their highest potential. PHESD believes that all children are exceptional and special. Every child has his or her own unique gift that make them extraordinary.
We have had a busy and exciting summer preparing for our students to return. We have introduced a new platform to pay student fees. The Push Coin link can be found on the home page of our site. This will hopefully allow our parents the convenience of paying for any registration fees, field trip fees, graduation fees, etc. from the comfort of their home.
Our Pre-Kindergarten Program has expanded even further. We have 12 total classrooms across the district. Each elementary building has at least one classroom for our 4-year-old students and we are excited to introduce our new Primary Learning Center which will hold our 3-year-old classrooms. We are well on our way to our goal of providing a continuum of service from birth to 8th grade and beyond. We have exciting plans for supporting our parents and young children.
As always, should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or 708.210.0281. Have a blessed year.
