• Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 is pleased to offer full-day Pre-Kindergarten to our students ages 3-5 that live in our school area.

     

    Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 will be conducting Pre-Kindergarten Child Find Screenings for children from ages three to five for the 2021-2022 school year.  All children who reside within our district that will be 3 by September 1, 2020 are eligible to participate. 

     

    Please e-mail prekprogram@phsd144.net with your full name, your child's name, address, phone number and child's date of birth.  Your child must be 3 by September 1, 2021 to be considered.  You must fill out the following forms and either e-mail it to prekprogram@phsd144.net or drop off at District Office in our Pre-K drop box.  Permission to Screen Form and Parent Interview English/Parent Interview Spanish.  You must also provide proof of income or public benefits. 

    Once we receive the permission to screen, parent interview and proof of income you will be given information on how to register your child for school if he/she qualifies.  To register you will need proof of residency, current physical and immunization and your child's birth certificate.

    Pre-K Registration, for students who have been screened, will be every Tuesday and Thursday by appointment only.  Please contact Ms. Hardmon at 708.331.3364 to schedule an appointment.

    All preschoolers who reside in Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 are eligible to attend the screening free of charge. 

     

    Children who may experience possible delays in development will be recommended for further evaluations.
