Ms. Green is the epitome of loyalty, dedication and longevity. She has been a part of PHESD144 for 20+ years and staff member at CH for 15+ of those years. Ms. Green rarely misses a day and her students know it. Rain, sleet, snow or shine, she makes the trek from Indiana each day and if she isn’t here they know it and want to know where she is and when is she coming in. You will see her every morning at the “Chateaux Corral” checking in some our most precious children and there in the evening checking them out. Not only is she the voice reason but she is the negotiator, the mentor and stabilizer that many of our children need. She gives support staff, students and also the parents of Chateaux. If they are in need of anything, they can confidentially count on her to find a way to get them the answers and support they need. She leads RtI (Response to Intervention) groups, is our Girls SW.A.G.G. Leader, Career Day Coordinator and volunteers on many Chateaux family night committees and assists with many events. She is also the 2nd in Command to our Principal. When making her rounds about the school each day, she greets every student and staff member with a smile, checks in to make sure you’re ok, encourages you to have a good day! Ms. Green is one of the most helpful, giving people anyone could know. She is a graduate from the University of Illinois-Champagne/Urbana….”Go Blue and Orange!” and loves going to the movies. Kudos to you Ms. Green, you’re dedication to Chateaux is something that we definitely could not live without. We are better because you are a part of the Chateaux and PHESD144 family!
