I am looking forward to this 2023-2024 school year at Highlands. We will be working hard in this classroom to take it to the next level! We will work on building a classroom community and dealing with challenges using The 7 Mindset ideas. I will need help from home to make sure students come to school daily and are well rested. Students will be assigned homework weekly and expected to work on that at home. If an assignment is given, please return it the following day. They can work on school websites daily : I-Ready reading /math, Bluestreak, Acellus, Imagine Learning, Raz-Kids. Once we get our planners,I will have the students write their homework in their planner so that home knows what needs to be completed. Please make sure you check backpacks daily for any school letters that may need your attention. This will be an awesome year!
