Welcome to Second Grade!

I have been teaching 2nd grade at Mae Jemison for five years.  I enjoy creating a classroom environment that creates a sense of belonging and an expectation to succeed. 

I look forward to what this year brings to our learning journey!

My background includes being a counselor for 11 years prior to earning my masters degree in Elementary Education. I truly love being a teacher and helping children to reach their potential.

Welcome back! My name is Mrs. Kimberly Bieker and I will be your 2nd-grade teacher this year.  I hope that you are all in good health and have enjoyed the summer break. This is my fourth year at Mae Jemison.
