Hello my name is Sophia Russo! I am so very excited to be your First grade teacher for the upcoming school year. This will be my 5th year teaching here at Mae Jemison.

I LOVE teaching first grade and can't wait to explore new things with you!  Be prepared to learn the curriculum, grow in confidence, and become amazing people in my classroom:) 

I have been the cheerleading coach for the last 3 years. Therefore, I will not only be your teacher, but I will also be your biggest cheerleader!!
