Teaching is my second career. I spent 17 years as a carpenter before I entered the teaching profession.
I also spent 18 years coaching high school girls' basketball,with 9 years as a freshmen coach, 2 years as a varsity assistant, and 7 years as the head coach of
the varsity team. Some of my hobbies are playing golf, working in my garden, and cheering on the White Sox, Bears, and Bulls. Yes, I still have hope that each team will
get better during my lifetime.
