I am excited about beginning my twenty-second year of teaching in Prairie Hills School District 144. For ten years, I taught Kindergarten at the Primary Academic Center.  During the 2012 – 2013 school year, I taught second grade at Chateaux Elementary. The following year, I returned to the Kindergarten classroom at Chateaux  Elementary.  I have a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was a social worker for four years prior to starting my teaching career. I received my teacher training and certificate at Governors State University.  I am married and have two children. I am passionate about ensuring that the children in my class receive the best education possible and that is my goal for the school year.
