Welcome to First Grade

Welcome back to school!  I am looking forward to a productive year filled with many exciting learning experiences! 

As a parent, you too play an important role in our community. With support and encouragement at home, your child will experience much success with comfort and confidence!  I look forward to working with you through the joys and challenges of first grade

Home Folder and Student Panner

Each day your child will be coming home from school with a HOME FOLDER.  In this folder you may find several important papers such as:

*Homework:  All homework should be completed and returned to school the following day, unless otherwise noted on the homework paper.

*Newsletters or Important Notes from me that will require your special attention.  Some of these notes may also request a timely response from you!

*Important Letters from our Principal, Mrs. Jennings or Assistant Principal, Ms. Cieplucha

 Please make it a daily routine to check both your child’s Home Folder and Student Planner.  The Home Folder and Student Planner should always come to and from school each day, even if it is empty!  Thank you for your cooperation! 

Lunch

Each day we will have lunch from 11:00-11:30. 

Specials

Gym: Monday & Thursday

Music: Tuesday & Friday

Library: Wednesday 

 Transportation

If your child’s transportation home ever changes,  it is important to contact the office before 2:30.  Students cannot tell me if there is a change, it must come from a parent.
