On Thursday, April 30th and Friday, May 1st, Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 hosted the 2015 South Cook Regional Math Bowl. Students from 26 school districts within the south suburban area came together at Prairie State College to compete in this awesome event. The first through eighth grade students competed in three individual events and two team events. Out of 26 participating districts, the Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 Division B team (1st and 2nd graders) placed 5th place. Congratulations to all of the district representatives for a job well!
On May 7th, Ms. Koch and Ms. Gregus' students Aariana Smith and Chyna Davis were awarded Senate Recognition from Senator Michael Hastings for being selected to participate in the "Tech 2015: Students for the Information Age" demonstration at the Illinois State Capitol Building.
