Superintendent's Office

Dr. Kinasha Brown, Superintendent
What an honor it is to be considered for Prairie Hills Elementary School District 144. I am fully committed and invested in the success of every student not just as a Superintendent, but as a proud Prairie Hills Elementary School District 144 parent. This 100 day Superintendent Entry Plan is designed to serve as a brief introduction to my leadership as our team continues to build off the strong Prairie Hills Elementary School District 144 foundation shaped by students, families, teachers, previous leaders, staff, and the community. My leadership is guided by the following core values.
Student Centered. I firmly believe that every decision should be made with the student‘s best interests in mind. Diversity. I believe in the inherent value and contributions of difference in culture, race, ability, and development to the academic success of every student.
Excellence. I believe that each student’s success depends on the quality and effectiveness of equitable learning opportunities and the commitment to serve students effectively each day.
Communication. I believe effective communication cultivates trust, collaboration, and understanding, driving positive outcomes and fostering strong relationships. Integrity. I believe that to serve each student successfully, educators and leaders are called to act according to the highest moral and ethical standards.
Innovation. I believe that continuous improvement and access to innovative programming and state of the art facilities is vital to academic excellence.
Caring Community. I believe that each student’s success depends not only on high expectations, but also on the social, emotional, and academic support that a caring community provides.
