Hello students and parents/guardians,

My name is Ms. (Kassie) Larsen and I will be your 6th grade English Language Arts teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. I graduated from the University of Iowa in December of 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Endorsements in Reading and Language Arts (K-8). I am a first year teacher and I am so excited to begin my career in the PHSD 144 district! Over the course of the school year, student's social and emotional needs will be the front focus of their learning. My classroom will be a safe and positive environment where students feel represented, valued, and comfortable sharing without judgement.
