Welcome to the 2018-19 school year! It is with great pride and excitement that I write this letter as the 8th Grade Assistant Principal at Prairie Hills Junior High School. I look forward to continuing my work with Principal Kenndell Smith, as well as the rest of our staff, in our efforts to advance the achievement of all students at PHJH.

The middle school years are important and critical times for students. What happens during these years will have a lasting impression on their growth and development. My goal as an Assistant Principal is to provide the leadership that will facilitate a school environment that is safe and respectable. This will allow your child to receive the best possible academic instruction.

Along with the teachers and staff, I will work hard at building strong relationships with parents, students and community partners. Working together, I am confident that we will continue to provide our students with a truly rigorous and enriching school experience.

It is important to me that students, parents, and staff are excited to be here!  This attitude enables us to meet the challenges of academic excellence in a positive, fun and nurturing environment.  My door is always open and I welcome your input.  Please feel free to call or email me to discuss any concerns you might have throughout the school year.
