Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144’s Induction and Mentoring Program supports educators through collaboration, professional growth, and ongoing instructional support. Grounded in the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards and Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching, the program helps educators strengthen instructional practices, develop effective classroom environments, analyze student learning, and meet district expectations. Through individualized mentoring, classroom observations, reflection, and professional learning, educators receive support tailored to their experience and professional needs. The program emphasizes a collaborative, non-evaluative relationship focused on continuous improvement and student success.
