    My name is Mrs. Lara and I am so excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher for the 2022-2023 school year! This will be my 6th year with Prairie Hills School District 144 and my 12th year as an elementary school teacher. I received my teacher tenure in 2021 with Prairie Hills School District 144. I have my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Northeastern Illinois University and my Master's Degree in Teacher Leadership from Roosevelt University. I plan on continuing my education in administration. When I am not teaching, I enjoy running, exercising, cooking, crafting, and spending time with my family. I am a huge Chicago Bears fan! Da Bears!
