CC1 Teacher, SLT (School Leadership Team Member), PBIS Team Member, Teacher Union Representative, Mentor, Cheer Coach…is there anything that Ms. Karnia doesn’t do?  Usually before most staff arrive for the day, Ms. Karnia is here preparing for her students.  She is one of the first to greet her students as they get off the school bus to come to school and she is usually the last face that they see before they leave for the day.  Her classroom and school spirit is unmatched!  On any given day or holiday, Ms. Karnia and her team are adorned in matching t-shirts with inspirational messages, that remind others how much she cares for her students and values what she does each day!  When you enter her classroom, the peaceful, busy atmosphere shows that students are engaged, having fun and learning!  Former students, often return to say hello and are excited tell her about all that they have accomplished as she beams with pride knowing that the impression she left upon them made a difference.  Ms. Karnia has a never give up spirit and always looks for a way to help a student in need!  Ms. Karnia is an invaluable asset to Chateaux. The support she gives, her positive energy, her warm nurturing, spirit, and an excellent work ethic is a shining example of what ALL Chateaux staff are!

This month Teacher of the month is our 2nd grade teacher Ms. Schwartz. She goes above and beyond for students, arrives early and stays late daily and she always has a smile on her face. Ms. Schwartz approaches instructional lessons to her students very strategically and thinks of new ways to present materials to keep students engaged. She is very organized and professional I liked how she volunteers for stuff around the building. Thanks for all the hard work Ms. Schwartz…..
