HELLO!
My name is Ms. Brown. I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher! I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself. This is my third year teaching at Mae Jemison. I feel very lucky to be a part of the excellent staff here. I grew up in Florida before moving to Chicago. My son and I currently live in Tinley Park. I love to hike, travel, read, and spend time with my family and dog.
We are going to have a wonderful 2023-2024 year. This year will be packed full of learning experiences and fun adventures that no one will want to miss out on!Your child will have homework Monday-Thursday to help them work on the skills that we are trying to master in our classroom.
