This is Ms. Mahone’s 2nd year as a 3rd grade teacher here at Chateaux. When you enter her classroom, you know that learning is taking place. Students are engaged in learning and the atmosphere is charged with positive energy. She is a welcoming bridge for students entering the intermediate stage of their education. Ms. Mahone is a great addition to the staff. She always greets you with a smile and has an infectious personality that will light up a room. Ms. Mahone is a graduate of St. Xavier College. She is a married and a mother of 2. Kudos and your first of many and well deserved Teacher of the Month awards! We are and appreciate of all that you do!

Ms. Bendik teaches 4th Grade at Fieldcrest School. This is her first year teaching at Fieldcrest and she loves it here! The children, parents and staff are all amazing! Before Fieldcrest, she taught 4th grade at Chateaux School for 7 years. Prior to Chateaux, Ms. Bendik taught Kindergarten, 2nd and 4th grade at Highlands School. She has been a part of many programs & on many committees such as STEM, technology, student council, gifted, the after school program and much more. She has also attended and participated in countless after school activities, all of which she loves being a part of. She has been a staff member in District 144 for over 20 years! Ms. Bendik has a B.A. in Elementary Education from National Louis University in Evanston, IL. Her hobbies include photography, and being a part of the great outdoors. A few of her favorite things include elephants, decorating & celebrating the holidays, cheese, being creative and spending time with family and friends at her home in Wisconsin.

Ms. Koren Moore: Ms. Moore, 2nd grade teacher, is dedicated to ensuring that all of her students are successful. She works collaboratively with staff and parents to help all of her students reach their full potential. Ms. Moore has created a caring and nurturing learning environment for her students, and always treats children with kindness and respect. Ms. Moore helps to make Highlands a wonderful place to be!

Ms. Jennings is the Fourth grade teacher/lead and she likes running, kickboxing, bowling and volunteering. She enjoys spending time and having fun with family and friends. She loves working with young people and helping to shape and mold them to becoming the best that they can be. At this point in her life her grandson Samuel has become an added joy and another reason to smile.

Ms. Beamon is a very dedicated Teacher here at Markham Park School. She goes above and beyond for our staff and students. SHe is over the S.I.K.E.S. Program, Little Ladies and Career Day among other things for our school. She is also this year Team Leader and doing a wonderful job! Thanks for all your help and support. We really appreciate you!!

Ms. Chatman is a woman that truly has a sincere heart towards our students. She believes in giving her all to the students and motivating them to reach their highest potential! Ms. Chatman is a veteran teacher that has joined our Nob Hill Family as our very own 2nd grade teacher. She continues to provide enriching and challenging experiences for our students. Because she is a committed and innovative teacher, Ms. Chatman often works with our students during her lunch period. She organizes functions for our school to participate in, and continues to persevere even when facing difficulties. She is a quiet spirit with a smile that lights up the room. Ms. Chatman, we congratulate you and welcome you with open arms to our Nob Hill Family! You are Nob Hill’s Best!

Mr. Mathis is one of Prairie-Hills Junior High deans. This is Mr. Mathis twenty eighth year as a Mustang. He is truly a cornerstone in the community and school has he has taught many of our current student’s parents. He works diligently building positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents. You can always hear him positively challengingly the seventh grade students during lunch and is always very generous with the students who serve in the lunchroom. Mr. Mathis is a devoted dad and husband. He enjoy vacationing in warm places. One of his favorite destinations in Los Vegas. Mr. Mathis is an asset to the entire PHJH community and is very deserving to be selected as teacher of the month for November 2018.
