HELLO!

My name is Ms. Rowan.  I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher! I am looking forward to a year of full of learning! I would like to begin by telling you a little about myself. This will be my fourth year teaching, and I feel very lucky to be a part of the excellent staff that we have at Nob Hill. Gooo Tigers! I grew up on the Southside of Chicago and I am still currently live there.

 Your child will have homework Monday-Thursday to help them work on the skills that we are trying to master in our classroom. This homework will be taken as a grade. When your child has completed their homework, I ask that an adult sign their student planner.

This will be our special schedule for the coming 2019-2020 school year.

Monday- PE

Tuesday- Music

Wednesday- Library 

Thursday- PE

Friday- Music

Second Grade is an exciting year filled with new independence and increasing abilities. We have a great year ahead of us! We’ll be reviewing a lot, learning even more new information, and of course, having tons of fun along the way!  It is a year where First Grade concepts are reinforced and built upon. This will be an exhilarating time!
