• Hi my name is L. Torres, 

    I am enthusiastic to be part of great team of teachers at Markham Park. I am very excited to teach 3rd Grade and be part of your kids’ education. I am bilingual. I just have a degree of Computer Science, Yoga certificate and personal trainer certified earned after 30 hours collage credits. Also, I have an endorse at Governor State University to get my master’s in early childhood education.

     

    I have experience working with children through volunteering at school library while my son was in first grade, and while his four years of H.S. I was a yoga instructor for kids. Also, I had the opportunity provide yoga and meditation instruction to middle school girls during fill-in for Project Exploration’s Girls Health and Science Day. I'm confident that my skills and passion for teaching prepare as educator. I aim to use these skills to motive; encourage and teach children they are the leaders of tomorrow.
