From the Principal
I am completing my eleventh year as an administrator and my tenth year as the principal of the Great Highlands School. My tenure has been a very terrific, dynamic and rewarding experience. We are consistently moving our school from good to great because we have the abilities, beliefs, and vision to achieve this transformation. First, I want to give thanks to the two previous principals because they laid a good foundation for our present and future success. I was able to build upon their hard work and dedication to achieve high expectations in student achievement. With that said, Highlands students, parents and staff are an outstanding group to work with and serve. We are continuing with new initiatives for teaching and developing the entire cognitive development of our students. We have implemented RTI, Aimsweb and Map assessments to improve our instructional learning.
