Our Schools

Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 covers 8.1 sq. miles, which includes portions of four communities in south suburban Cook County, IL: Country Club Hills, which is home to Nob Hill School; Hazel Crest, which is home to Mae Jemison, Chateaux and Highland Schools; Markham, which is home to Markham Park, the Primary Academic Center and Prairie-Hills Jr. High; and Oak Forest, which is home to Fieldcrest School.Teacher of the Month Site is live- See February Winners-Click 'Initiatives' on the Channel Bar or Click Here.

    The Prairie-Hills central office administrative staff is located at 3015 W. 163rd St. in Markham, IL 60428.
     
    The technology department staff is located at the same address in the District Annex which is located behind the main facility.
     
    Choose "Select a School" at the top of the district home page to find any of the eight schools in our district: Chateaux, Fieldcrest, Highlands, Mae Jemison, Markham Park, Nob Hill, Prairie-Hills Jr. High, and the Primary Academic Center.
